According to the current authorities of Panjshir Province, total cherry production in the province has reached 130 metric tons this year.
Provincial officials stated that a portion of the cherry harvest will be exported to international markets, including China, Russia, Uzbekistan, and the United Arab Emirates.
The authorities emphasized that efforts are ongoing to promote horticultural development, increase agricultural productivity, and expand export opportunities, with the aim of further strengthening the presence of Panjshir’s fruit products in global markets.
