The Taliban police command in Ghazni says that traffic accidents during the Eid holidays in the province claimed the lives of three people and left 34 others injured.
According to the command, 34 traffic accidents were recorded in Ghazni city and its districts during the three days of Eid.
Officials attributed the accidents to speeding, failure to observe traffic regulations, and driver negligence.
It is reported that most of these accidents occurred on the Kabul–Kandahar Highway, particularly in the Andar district.
In the past two days, two separate traffic accidents in Nuristan and Laghman provinces have left more than 20 people dead.
