Local sources report that a young man from Kapisa Province died while migrating to Iran on the route to Saravan in Sistan and Baluchestan Province. According to these sources, the incident occurred on Friday, 29 Jowza.
The young man, identified as Faiz Agha, son of Sayed Agha and a resident of Taj Mohammadkhil village in the central district of Kapisa Province, had traveled to Iran in search of work to support his family. He reportedly died during the journey under harsh environmental conditions.
Available information indicates that the cause of death was severe heat and lack of access to a safe location along the route. It is said that he fell into critical condition in one of the areas along the Saravan route and died there.
Sources add that his body is still in Saravan County, and his family and relatives are working to arrange its transfer back to Afghanistan.
Reports further indicate that each year, a number of Afghan citizens choose irregular migration routes to neighboring countries due to economic hardship, poverty, and unemployment, and that some lose their lives during these dangerous journeys.
