The leader of the Awami National Party, Aimal Wali Khan, has stated that the fundamental mindset of the Pakistani state is based on fear and insecurity, rather than on peace, love, and progress.
He added in his remarks that a sign of a healthy state is that people have access to security, roads, schools, and healthcare facilities, but according to him, the policies of the Pakistani state are in conflict with these values.
Aimal Wali Khan further said that in the policies of the Pakistani state, there is a prevailing belief that fear should be spread, explosions should occur, and kidnappings should continue, and these actions create a major obstacle to societal progress.
He emphasized that until the mindset and policies of the state change, achieving lasting peace and stability in the region is not possible.
