The U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) has announced that since the start of the maritime blockade, 45 ships under the command of U.S. forces have altered their course and returned to ports.
CENTCOM shared this news on its X page, adding that the blockaded area includes Iran’s southern ports and coastal areas. According to the command, these actions are being taken to strengthen maritime security and prevent potential threats.
So far, Iran has not officially responded to this announcement, but analysts say that such movements could further escalate tensions in the region.
