China: Peace talks between the Taliban and Pakistan have resumed.

The Taliban’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has stated that a delegation representing the Taliban has been sent to Pakistan for peace negotiations.

According to the statement, this process will proceed based on mutual respect and constructive dialogue. The delegation consists of representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Defense, Intelligence Agency, and the Ministry of Interior of the Taliban. According to the Taliban, these negotiations will proceed informally and without specific conditions.

The Taliban say that in these talks, they will engage in principled and balanced discussions on various topics, including political and economic interactions, strengthening trade relations, and managing security issues. They expressed hope that through diplomatic engagement, based on mutual respect and constructive understanding, the grounds for stability and cooperation in the region will be established, even though Pakistan has bombed Kabul in recent months and caused harm to Afghans.

Earlier, similar talks had taken place in Qatar, Turkey, and Saudi Arabia between Pakistan and the Taliban, but they did not yield tangible results. Now, it remains to be seen whether these new negotiations will lead to a significant outcome.
