The Taliban have announced that their leader, Hibatullah Akhundzada, has developed a new approach to managing emergency situations, particularly in foreign contexts. According to a Taliban spokesman, this approach will focus on immediate and organized actions to assist people and provide emergency aid, especially during heavy snowfall, heavy rainfall, and other natural disasters.
The Taliban have stated that the main goal of this approach is to ensure that aid reaches affected areas during natural disasters and that help is provided to those in need, thereby reducing potential human and financial losses.
This new approach is being actively implemented, while an emergency mechanism for responding to crises had already been in place previously. However, now a new and stronger mechanism has been established for better coordination and response.
