Fars News Agency, affiliated with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, has reported, citing an informed source, that the Islamic Republic of Iran will not enter the second round of negotiations with the United States until the “five confidence-building conditions” are met.
According to the report, Tehran has emphasized that Washington must take practical steps to build trust before the next phase of talks can begin. Sources have said that Iran, due to past experiences, has lost trust in U.S. promises and therefore wants to receive specific guarantees before starting new negotiations.
Fars News Agency has not published the full details of these five conditions but has stated that they are considered important for establishing trust between the two sides.
