Iran’s Fars News Agency has reported that a residential neighborhood on Qeshm Island was hit in a U.S. strike, killing three members of a family.
Citing Hormozgan University of Medical Sciences, Fars said the strike took place early Thursday (July 30) in the Chahtangu neighborhood of Qeshm City.
According to the report, the attack killed the father, mother, and their two-year-old child, while the family’s seven-year-old and nine-year-old children were injured.
However, the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) said it carried out strikes early Thursday against dozens of “military targets” linked to Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
Iranian media have also reported multiple explosions on the islands of Kish and Abu Musa, as well as in the cities of Ahvaz, Abadan, Shadegan, Arvand Kenar, Kazeroon, and Nurabad in Fars Province.
