Hamdullah Fatrat, the deputy spokesman of the Taliban, says that fresh attacks have been carried out by the Pakistani military in the Asadabad area and some districts of Kunar province, resulting in heavy civilian casualties. He stated that in these attacks, 4 civilians were killed and 70 others were wounded. According to him, the targeted areas are civilian zones, and the homes of ordinary people have also been damaged. Fatrat strongly condemned these attacks, calling them “an unforgivable war crime.” He added that such attacks worsen the security situation in the region and pose a serious threat to the lives of civilians.
