Mohammad Ashraf Ghani, the former President of Afghanistan, has resumed his podcast series after an interruption of approximately six months. He stated that the series had been suspended for certain specific reasons.
Ghani, who has been residing in the United Arab Emirates since leaving Afghanistan, had previously launched a series of audio podcasts addressing various political and social issues in Afghanistan. However, this series had been paused since November 2025.
The former president had earlier stated that the suspension of his podcasts was due to restrictions imposed on him in the United Arab Emirates. His last podcast was published on November 6, 2025.
Mohammad Ashraf Ghani wrote on his X account Thursday that he has once again been able to communicate and engage with citizens, and therefore has resumed his podcast series.
