Mohammad Fouad Nadri, a sports journalist and cameraman, has announced that due to arbitrary behavior, distrust, and unprofessional conduct by some sports officials, he will no longer be active in the photography and sports media sector in Kunduz province.
He, who in recent years has played an active role in covering sports events, particularly football matches in Kunduz, shared this announcement on his Facebook page, writing: “I have always been present alongside athletes and clubs with honesty and commitment, but my efforts and hard work were ignored.”
The sports journalist added: “From today onwards, I will have no media cooperation with the Kunduz Sports Directorate and Federation.”
Following these statements, a number of journalists and media activists reacted, saying that Nadri faced harsh treatment from some officials due to highlighting problems and shortcomings within the Kunduz Football Federation.
According to these journalists, active and honest individuals in the sports and media sector currently face various challenges and pressures within the country’s football environment.
They also pointed to changes in the management of football in Kunduz province, noting that the previous official was removed and a new person appointed, who, according to them, is aligned with central authorities but has so far not played an effective role in improving football in the province.
