At the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Asian Cricket Council (ACC), it was decided that Afghanistan will henceforth also be eligible to hold the council’s rotating presidency.

According to the council, with the approval of the member countries, the Afghanistan Cricket Board has been included in the list of full-member boards eligible to assume the presidency of the ACC.
