The Israeli military has announced that on Friday morning, a military tank in southern Lebanon came under attack, resulting in the death of four Israeli soldiers, including a commander.
The army stated that this incident is considered the deadliest for Israeli forces during the ongoing three-month conflict.
According to initial reports, it was first believed that the tank had been struck by an improvised explosive device. However, Israeli officials later said it is possible that a suicide drone or an anti-tank missile entered through an exposed section of the tank and caused the explosion.
