Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps has announced that, over the past 24 hours, 25 vessels passed through the Strait of Hormuz after receiving permission from the force’s naval unit.
According to a statement released by the Public Relations Office of the IRGC Navy, the vessels included oil tankers, container ships, and other commercial ships.
The IRGC stated that the “vigilant control” of the Strait of Hormuz is continuing at full capacity and warned that any act of aggression would receive a “firm and decisive” response.
The Strait of Hormuz is considered one of the world’s most important maritime routes for the transportation of oil and commercial goods, and during periods of regional tension, its security and navigation have consistently attracted global attention.
