Mojtaba Khamenei, Iran’s new leader, declared in his Eid message that the nations of the region will no longer serve as shields for American military bases.
The Eid message of Iran’s new leader was published today, Tuesday, 5 Jawza, through the country’s state media. Part of the message referred to the recent tensions and conflict between Iran and the United States.
In his message, Mojtaba Khamenei stated: “The hands of time do not move backward, and the nations and lands of the region will no longer be shields for American bases.”
He also warned that the United States would no longer have “a safe place for aggression and the establishment of military bases” in the region.
During the recent clashes between Iran and the United States, several regional countries including the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Bahrain were targeted by Iranian drone and missile attacks because they host American military bases.
