During the period of the republican system, former Afghan National Security Chief, Rahmatullah Nabil, stated that despite more than four decades of wars, foreign interventions, and proxy conflicts, Afghanistan still stands strong.
In his remarks, he said that throughout history, various regimes and governments have come and gone, yet Afghanistan has remained an independent country.
Nabil added that the current Taliban regime will not be permanent and will eventually come to an end, but, according to him, Afghanistan will continue to exist as it has in the past.
He emphasized that Afghans should remain hopeful about the country’s future and work towards national unity, stability, and lasting peace.
