An anti-Taliban opposition group, the National Resistance Front (NRF), has claimed responsibility for a tactical attack on a Taliban outpost in the "Bagh-e Shah" area along the Argu–Kishim junction in Badakhshan province, reporting that one Taliban fighter was killed and another injured.
According to a statement released by the Front, the attack took place around 11:00 PM on Wednesday night, after which its forces safely returned to their positions. The NRF added that no civilians were harmed during the operation.
The Resistance Front further stated that it will continue its targeted attacks against the Taliban across various regions of the country.
The Taliban have not yet commented on the claim, and it has not been independently verified by neutral sources.
