Vladimir Putin, the President of Russia, emphasized the continuation of strategic relations between Moscow and Tehran during a meeting with Abbas Araghchi, the Iranian Foreign Minister. The meeting took place in the Russian capital, Moscow.
According to RIA Novosti, Putin announced that he had received a message from the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran. He also expressed hope that the people of Iran would be able to overcome this difficult period and that peace would prevail in the region.
The Russian President further stated that his country would take any actions in line with the interests of Iran and other countries in the region. He stressed the importance of stability and regional cooperation.
Abbas Araghchi, in this meeting, stated that the relationship between Iran and Russia constitutes a strategic partnership. He added that this relationship would continue in the future and be further strengthened.
The meeting between the senior officials of the two countries comes at a time when Tehran and Moscow have expanded their political, economic, and regional cooperation in recent years.
