The leader of the anti-Taliban “United Front,” General Sami Sadat, has claimed that two Taliban intelligence operatives were killed in Kandahar City in retaliation for the killing of “Haji Brother,” an associate of Hazratullah Achakzai, a former security official in Kandahar.
On Sunday, Sadat wrote on X that the Taliban had killed “Haji Brother,” a former officer of the Afghan National Police, and that members of the United Front’s operational team subsequently killed two Taliban intelligence personnel in Kandahar City.
He said the attack was carried out in retaliation for the killing of Hazratullah Achakzai, but provided no further details about the incident.
