Shapur Hassanzoy, a former member of the Logar Provincial Council, has claimed in a recent interview that he has faced serious humiliation, pressure, and mistreatment from the Taliban. He says that some Taliban members explicitly told him, “You are not a lawyer, you are a donkey,” and he described these words as a severe insult.
Hassanzoy added that the abuse was not limited to verbal insults; his house was also attacked, and some of his family members were beaten and harassed.
He also claimed that, with the help of the Ministry of Interior, his two daughters were kidnapped and taken out of the country with forged documents.
In response to these allegations, many social media users condemned the Taliban’s behavior, stating that no one should be subjected to such insults and violence due to political differences or opinions.
Hassanzoy had previously expressed concerns regarding his security and personal safety.
