The Taliban's Kabul Security Command announced that it has arrested three individuals, including a woman, in the 13th security district of Kabul city on charges of stealing approximately half a kilogram of gold.
According to the Taliban, those arrested include a woman, her husband, and a jeweler. The woman allegedly stole around half a kilogram of gold and nearly 70,000 Afghanis while working at a home in the Qala-e-Fatullah area.
The Taliban added that following an investigation, they apprehended the suspects and returned the stolen gold and cash to their rightful owners.
The Taliban have not released further details regarding the case so far.
