Armed individuals in the Bannu region of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, in Pakistan, opened fire on an Ambulance belonging to a local charitable organization, resulting in the deaths of four people.
The Pakistan Police stated that the bodies of the victims were transferred to the central hospital in Bannu, and an investigation into the case has been launched.
According to the police, the incident occurred on Friday, 5 Saratan (late June), when unidentified assailants fired upon the ambulance, killing four middle-aged men.
Security officials have not yet provided details regarding the identities of the victims.
Reports indicate that police forces arrived at the scene after being informed and cordoned off the area. A local official said that the motive behind the attack remains unclear and that investigations are ongoing.
