Local sources in Kabul report that a woman, who had been involved in a legal dispute with her “grandmother’s grandson,” was shot and killed in Kabul. The incident took place on Tuesday, 8th of Thor, in the Khair Khana area of Kabul.
According to the sources, the woman, named “Badriya,” was originally from Badakhshan province. She was shot while heading to the court associated with the Taliban and lost her life as a result.
The sources further added that her body has been transferred to the forensic department, and initial investigations into the incident are ongoing.
According to the information provided, Taliban authorities have arrested the woman’s defense lawyer. It is also reported that her uncles have been summoned to Kabul to follow up on the case.
The sources clarified that this woman had previously had legal disputes with her ex-husband and had separated from him. Her ex-husband is identified by sources as “Abdulmatin Idraq.”
Meanwhile, reports have also emerged stating that four members of a family were killed by unknown individuals in the center of Logar province yesterday, an incident that has raised further concerns about the increase in violent events.
