The Economic Commission of the Taliban, chaired by Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund, has approved an electronic management system for correspondence and administrative documents. At the same time, the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology has been instructed to gradually begin the implementation of this system.
Taliban officials have stated that the goal of launching this initiative is to digitalize the exchange of documents, strengthen coordination between departments, and prevent forgery and administrative corruption.
This comes at a time when the Taliban continues to face criticism regarding transparency and accountability, and no details have yet been provided about how independent oversight of this system will be carried out.
Additionally, during this meeting, a report on 22 public welfare projects, which are to be funded from mining revenues, was presented.
However, details regarding the timeline for implementation and the areas where these projects will be applied have not been released yet.
