Trump emphasized while making these remarks that Washington does not want a long-term conflict, but it is prepared to use military force if necessary. He added that the goal of the United States is to compel Iran to accept an agreement that, according to Washington, would ensure regional stability.
So far, there has been no official response from Iran regarding these statements, but Tehran has consistently rejected such U.S. threats and emphasized that it will not make any concessions under pressure or force.
This warning comes at a time when relations between the two countries remain tense, and disagreements over Iran’s nuclear program, sanctions, and regional issues continue. Analysts say that if negotiations fail, the risk of military escalation will increase further.
