The Turkey-based Human Rights and Freedoms Foundation has announced that representatives from Afghanistan and Pakistan participated in unofficial “1.5 Track” talks in Istanbul, which were initiated in coordination with the same foundation.
According to the foundation, the discussions focused on issues such as ways to resolve ongoing conflicts between Afghanistan and Pakistan, improving relations, and potential cooperation.
So far, no official details about the outcomes of these talks have been released, but it is said that this process is an effort to reduce tensions and improve relations between the two sides.
