Pakistan’s President, Asif Ali Zardari, after the latest clash between Pakistan and India, said on the occasion of the anniversary of the first “Battle of Haq” that Afghanistan should not allow anyone to use its territory against Pakistan.
In his remarks, Zardari emphasized that regional stability requires that no country be allowed to use another country’s territory against it, and he particularly stressed Afghanistan’s responsibilities.
Meanwhile, Afghanistan’s ruling administration, the Taliban, has repeatedly stated that Afghan territory will not be used against any country and has reiterated its commitment to the security and control of its land.
