An Afghan athlete is competing against a Brazilian opponent in the ARS FC competitions in France.

Sakhi Qanbari, an Afghan freestyle wrestler residing in Sweden, is set to face Gabriel Pascalotti, a Brazilian fighter, in the arena. This match will take place tonight, Friday, the 14th of Hamal 1405 (March 31, 2026), in the 39th round of the ARS FC (Amateur Wrestling Sports Federation) competitions at the Arkea Arena in France.

So far, Qanbari has recorded eight wins and two losses in his ten professional freestyle wrestling bouts. On the other hand, Gabriel Pascalotti, the Brazilian fighter, has experienced six wins and two losses.

Qanbari has achieved four wins and one loss in his last five matches, and he has won his last two bouts. In contrast, Pascalotti has had three wins and two losses in his last five matches, and he has won his last three competitions. The weigh-in and face-off ceremony for both fighters was held on Thursday.
