The Pakistan Institute of Conflict and Security Studies has stated in its latest report that the security situation in the country improved in April 2026 compared to the previous month. According to the report, during this period, the number of armed attacks and the resulting casualties significantly decreased.
The institute adds that this reduction is attributed to the strengthening of security measures and an increase in operations against armed groups. However, the report emphasizes that there are still threats in certain areas, and further efforts are needed to achieve complete stability.
Experts believe that although this progress is seen as positive, the fight against terrorism must continue in a regular and sustained manner to ensure long-term security.
