Elon Musk Plans to Spend on Boosting Voter Turnout in U.S. Midterm Elections.
According to international media reports, U.S. billionaire Elon Musk plans to spend at least $100 million to increase voter turnout in the country’s upcoming midterm elections, following an improvement in his relationship with U.S. President Donald Trump.
Reports indicate that the initiative is aimed at increasing voter participation and helping Republicans maintain their majority in the U.S. Congress. However, the exact details of the plan and how the funds will be allocated have not yet been fully disclosed.
The Wall Street Journal reported on Friday, 23 Asad, that Musk and Trump have been meeting and speaking regularly following an improvement in their relationship.
According to the report, the two American figures communicate roughly once a month and discuss issues including artificial intelligence, China, and global developments.
The report comes amid months of ups and downs in the relationship between Musk and Trump. Their interactions, however, now appear to have increased again.
