End of One-Year Mission of Pakistani Officer in United Nations Peacekeeping Operations in Cyprus.

The United Nations has announced that Ayesha Khan, a member of the Pakistan Army, has completed her more than one-year-long mission as a Public Information Officer and Peacekeeper Women Liaison Officer in Cyprus.

This mission was carried out within the framework of the activities of the UN Peacekeeping Forces.

The UN office in Cyprus, through images of her activities shared on the X network, reported that Ayesha Khan played a key role during her mission in the area of media interaction and in advancing strategic communications related to issues in the buffer zone.

According to the report, the UN Peacekeeping Mission in Cyprus is one of the oldest peacekeeping operations in the world, and increasing the participation of women in it has been emphasized as one of the core priorities of this mission.
