The joint scientific and cultural program “Poetry Night,” organized in collaboration with the Online Women’s University and hosted by the Islamic Azad University, Karaj Branch, was held on Tuesday, 30 Saratan, both in person and simultaneously online. The event brought together a number of professors, researchers, poets, and writers from Afghanistan, Iran, Pakistan, and India.
Participants discussed the significance of the Persian language and literature, its role in preserving cultural identity, and the importance of expanding scientific and cultural cooperation among the countries of the region. They also emphasized the need to strengthen cultural ties and promote greater academic interaction.
During the continuation of the program, several poets and writers presented their latest works and recited their literary compositions in Persian and Pashto. This segment of the event was warmly received by attendees and transformed the gathering into a shared literary and cultural forum for writers and literary figures.
The organizers stated that the purpose of the program was to strengthen scientific and cultural exchanges, create opportunities for literary dialogue among academics and writers, and expand cultural cooperation at the regional level.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, the Islamic Azad University, Karaj Branch, honored a number of poets, writers, and students who contributed to organizing the event by presenting them with certificates of appreciation.
