The provincial media office of the Taliban in Khost has reported that the construction of a modern recreational complex, valued at 105 million Afghanis by a private company, has begun in the provincial center.
According to local Taliban officials, the project is being implemented on three jeribs of land next to the Independence Monument in Khost city, and its purpose is to develop the city’s recreational and commercial facilities.
Officials say that the complex will include special recreational areas for families, restaurants, green spaces, and other modern amenities, which, in addition to providing entertainment for people, will also create job opportunities for many.
Residents of Khost say that the implementation of such projects could transform the city’s appearance and provide a suitable recreational environment for the people.
