Rahmatullah Nabil, former head of the National Security Directorate during the republican era, expressed concern about the current situation in Afghanistan in a meeting and emphasized that ending the ongoing crisis requires working on a new national narrative.
Nabil stated that traditional approaches are no longer sufficient and that a new intellectual framework for the country’s future needs to be established. According to him, this process can only succeed if all segments of society, political groups, and ordinary citizens participate together in a national gathering.
He added that Afghanistan’s future should be determined based on mutual understanding, participation, and national consensus, so that the country can overcome its current challenges and move toward stability.
