Real Madrid has retained its status as the world’s most valuable football club for the fifth consecutive year. According to Forbes’ latest rankings, the Spanish giants are now valued at an impressive $9.5 billion.
In its 2026 report, Forbes revealed that Real Madrid generated a record-breaking $1.265 billion in revenue during the 2024–25 season, surpassing all other football clubs worldwide and setting the highest revenue figure ever recorded by any sports team globally.
Barcelona ranks second on the list with an estimated value of $7.5 billion, while Manchester United occupies third place with a valuation of $7.2 billion.
Liverpool, Paris Saint-Germain, Bayern Munich, Manchester City, Arsenal, Chelsea, and Tottenham Hotspur also feature among the world’s ten most valuable football clubs.
According to the report, the combined value of the world’s top 30 football clubs has reached $87 billion, reflecting a significant increase compared to the previous year. The average valuation of these clubs has also risen to $2.9 billion.
Forbes noted that the English Premier League dominates the rankings with 11 clubs among the top 30. It is followed by Major League Soccer (MLS) with seven clubs, Italy’s Serie A with four, Germany’s Bundesliga with three, and Spain’s La Liga with three representatives.
The publication attributed the growth in club valuations to several key factors, including increased investment by American owners in European football, rising commercial revenues, stadium development projects, and the expansion of international club competitions.
Forbes also projected that, with continued investment in European football and the ongoing growth of commercial opportunities, the financial value of the world’s leading football clubs is likely to continue rising in the years ahead.
