Reuters, citing a senior U.S. official, reported that Israel and Hezbollah have agreed to a new ceasefire arrangement, which is scheduled to take effect, Friday, at 4:00 p.m. local time.
According to Reuters, the U.S. official, who spoke on condition of anonymity, stated that the final ceasefire agreement between Hezbollah and Israel has been finalized.
The official added that mediators from the United States and Qatar, with the cooperation of Iran, played a significant role in facilitating the agreement and creating the conditions necessary for the negotiations.
The report also noted that following the recent clashes, both sides have now entered into a ceasefire phase, raising expectations of a reduction in tensions and violence.
