Amrullah Saleh, the former First Vice President of the Republic, said on his X account, in response to diplomatic and political statements regarding the ongoing crisis in Afghanistan, that placing blind trust in discussions involving the Taliban and Pakistan leads to flawed analysis.
Saleh wrote that whenever Pakistan says something about the situation in Afghanistan, it should be verified through three independent sources and still approached with full caution and skepticism.
According to him, whenever the Taliban issue an official statement, it should initially be treated as a complete falsehood, and only then should efforts be made to determine whether at least half of it might be true.
He added that in assessing ongoing developments in Afghanistan, such a strict and skepticism-based approach would help political analysts and commentators gain a clearer understanding and a more rational perspective on the country’s crisis.
