The internet monitoring organization “NetBlocks” has reported that the internet shutdown in Iran has reached its 63rd day. According to the organization, these long-term restrictions have not only affected internal communications within the country, but have also caused serious issues for Iranians living abroad.
NetBlocks adds that due to the continuous internet shutdown, many Iranians are unable to access information about the security, health, and general well-being of their families and friends. This situation has led to increased concerns and has had negative effects on the normal flow of human communication.
Experts warn that such widespread and prolonged restrictions could seriously disrupt economic activities, the free flow of information, and people’s daily lives.
