U.S. President Donald Trump said on Wednesday in France, during the summit of the leaders of the seven major industrialized nations (the G7 Summit), that the memorandum of understanding with Iran has not yet been finalized.
He warned that if he is not satisfied with the terms of this potential agreement, military action against Iran could be resumed.
Trump said: “This is a memorandum of understanding, and if I am not satisfied with it, we will strike them again and drop bombs on them. If they do not behave properly, we will carry out direct bombing again.”
He added that the potential agreement does not include the immediate lifting of sanctions, and that further details will be announced later.
