Turkey and Saudi Arabia have signed an agreement to waive visas for holders of diplomatic and special passports.
Anadolu Agency reported on Wednesday, May 6, that the agreement was signed following the third meeting of the “Turkey–Saudi Arabia Coordination Council” in Ankara.
Under this agreement, citizens of Turkey and Saudi Arabia holding diplomatic and special passports will no longer need a visa to travel between the two countries.
Officials from both countries have described this move as a step toward facilitating diplomatic relations and expanding bilateral cooperation.
The agreement comes as Turkey and Saudi Arabia have made efforts in recent years to strengthen their political and economic ties.
