The Iranian Foreign Minister, Abbas Araqchi, in his recent statements, has warned that if attacks on nuclear facilities continue, the effects of radioactive radiation will not be limited to Tehran alone, but will also pose serious risks to life in the Gulf’s royal cities.
He criticized the double standards of international positions, stating that the West reacted strongly to the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant issue in Ukraine, but no such sensitivity is observed regarding Iran.
Araqchi claimed that Iran’s Bushehr nuclear facilities have been bombed several times by Israel and the United States. According to him, the West’s silence regarding these attacks indicates that they are not merely neutral, but in some way support these actions.
Meanwhile, French President Emmanuel Macron has stated that although Iran’s political situation is difficult, solving it through military force is unrealistic, and political solutions should be sought.
These remarks come at a time when the regional situation remains tense, and concerns over the potential escalation of any crisis have increased.
