Pakistani media, quoting security officials, have reported that during an operation targeting undocumented Afghan migrants in the Sarai Kharboza area of Islamabad, 23 Afghans were arrested.
According to reports, these individuals resisted security forces during the operation, leading to violent clashes, as a result of which four police officers were injured.
Security officials stated that a “terrorism” case has been filed against the arrested individuals, and investigations are ongoing.
So far, no further details have been released regarding the identities and status of the detained Afghans.
