In the first month of the year 1405 in the Solar Hijri calendar, Ghazni province witnessed the arrival of dozens of foreign tourists, an event that once again highlighted the historical significance of this province.
According to the General Directorate of Tourism Companies, during this period, 38 international tourists from various countries visited Ghazni to explore its historical and cultural sites.
In a report published by the company “Afghan Tour,” Ghazni was introduced as one of Afghanistan’s major cultural and historical centers that continues to attract foreign tourists.
According to company officials, these tourists came from countries including the United States, China, the United Kingdom, Italy, Sweden, Finland, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Pakistan. They traveled to the province to visit archaeological sites and, in particular, the heritage of the Ghaznavid era.
These statistics indicate that despite existing challenges, foreign tourists’ interest in Afghanistan’s historical heritage remains strong, and Ghazni holds a special place in this regard.
