The Afghanistan National Cricket Team has arrived in Birmingham, England, to begin preparations for its upcoming One-Day International (ODI) series against Ireland.
The Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) announced that the team will continue its preparations through a training camp in Birmingham until August 1, aiming to achieve full readiness for the series.
According to the ACB, the squad will travel to Ireland upon the conclusion of the training camp. The first match of the five-match ODI series is scheduled to be played on August 5 at Bready Cricket Club Ground in Ireland.
The Afghanistan Cricket Board stated that the series forms a key part of the national team’s preparations for its upcoming international competitions.
