A cultural evening celebrating Afghan Uzbeks, attended by a number of Afghan artists and citizens, was held in Germany.
The event took place on Saturday, 31 Asad (August 22), in the city of Frankfurt, featuring musical performances and artistic programs by Afghan Uzbek artists.
Organizers said the event aimed to preserve and promote the culture, art, and music of Afghanistan’s Uzbek community among Afghan migrants in Europe.
A number of Afghan citizens living in European countries also attended the gathering.
During the event, several Afghan artists performed songs and showcased aspects of Uzbek culture and art.
The event comes at a time when music and artistic activities in Afghanistan face widespread restrictions under Taliban rule.
